Community Conference 2012

BREAKOUT – Church without Walls

What is the relevance of the Church to the community around us?
How can Christians make an impact in our nation?
What are some successful initiatives which had broken out of the walls of the Church and built good bridges into the community?
How can Christians respond to the issues we face around us?
What can we do?

What is God speaking to us about our individual and corporate response?

The Plenary Sessions address Biblical and foundational principles which enable both Christian Leaders and Individuals to gain understanding about Community Ministry. The speakers will provide reflections and insights into ministry to enable participants to assess where they are at and how to move forward. Practical examples of ministries will be shared as case studies and testimonies. The Workshops will give participants opportunities to interact with the speakers and workshop leaders, learn various models and initiatives already being undertaken as well as provide useful networks to get involved in future ministry together.

Conference Speakers: Ms. Robyn Robertson and  Rev. Elisha Satvinder

Workshop 1 – Community Development (Robyn Robertson, Ooi Kiah Hui, Ms. Irma L. Cosino)

Workshop 2 – Advocacy (Andrew Khoo Chin Hock & Kon Onn Sein)
